Jakarta, Nov. 29 -- Hundreds of logistical aid packages, consisting of basic necessities, emergency generators, and internet communication devices from the central government, arrived in North Sumatra and were immediately distributed.

The National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) delivered the emergency response aid via cargo plane from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta to Silangit Airport in North Tapanuli, North Sumatra, on Friday (November 28).

The Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information, and Communication Center, Abdul Muhari, on Friday, informed that all aid would be immediately unpacked and prepared for further distribution, both by land and by air using helicopters, to ensure a swift and targeted emergency response.
