Jakarta, May 5 -- Digital transformation is vital to help Indonesia deal with the impact of climate change on public health, according to the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs.
"Technology is our shield against the health risks caused by climate (change). We need science, collaboration, and digital innovation to deal with it," Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Nezar Patria, said.
He delivered the remarks at the Innovative Forum of ClimateSmart Indonesia in Jakarta on Monday.
He explained that the government is optimizing the use of new technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), to address the impacts of climate change.
