Jakarta, Nov. 26 -- The Indonesian government conveyed its readiness to collaborate with various parties to support forest and land rehabilitation efforts covering 12 million hectares through a carbon economic value scheme, as informed by Deputy Minister of Forestry Rohmat Marzuki.

He informed that Indonesia had signed several memorandums of understanding (MoUs) to support carbon trading in the country at the 30th UN Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Brazil.

These include MoUs signed between the Ministry of Forestry, the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM), and the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA).
