Jakarta, Sept. 22 -- The Indonesian government is preparing a land bank to support the relocation of residents in disaster-prone areas, aiming to accelerate post-disaster resettlement.

"The Ministry of Forestry and the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning are working on establishing a land bank for communities at risk," said Deputy for Disaster Management and Social Conflict Management at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture Lilik Kurniawan here on Monday.
