Jakarta, Dec. 10 -- Indonesia's Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning (ATR)/National Land Agency (BPN) Head Nusron Wahid is preparing land for temporary shelters (huntara) for disaster survivors in 52 districts/municipalities across Sumatra.
"Temporary shelters will require land, and we will allocate land in 52 districts/municipalities," said Nusron in Jakarta on Wednesday.
He explained that the assignment came directly from President Prabowo Subianto, who requested the preparation of land for temporary shelters as many survivors of the Sumatra disaster have been left without homes.
