Semarang, March 10 -- Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sudaryono announced the government's plan to provide free seeds and seedlings to farmers whose agricultural lands were affected by floods in Grobogan District, Central Java Province.

"Our goal is to ensure farmers will not have to worry about planting costs once the floodwaters subside. Therefore, we will try to provide them with free seeds and seedlings," he remarked in Semarang, Central Java, on Monday.

Sudaryono made this statement while inspecting the implementation of an affordable groceries market operation at a post office.
