Jakarta, July 26 -- The government will execute its plan for a national retreat for regional secretaries only after the ongoing administrative transfers at regional secretariats are completed, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Bima Arya Sugiarto, said.

Speaking at the ANTARA Heritage Center in Central Jakarta on Friday, he added that the government will wait for definitive regional secretaries to be inaugurated to ensure the planned retreat includes the intended participants.

"It should be noted that the holders of the regional secretary position are still changing due to retirements and rotations. We must first ensure all bureaucratic processes are completed so that the retreat brings together only definitive regional secretaries," Sugi...
