Jakarta, June 24 -- The National Resilience Institute ( Lemhannas ) has urged the Indonesian government to advocate for peace amid the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict, which the US has joined on Israel's side, through various multilateral institutions.

Indonesia can intensify calls for peace through the United Nations, Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and other international organizations that promote political stability in various parts of the world, according to Lemhannas governor Ace Hasan Syadzily.

"Because only with world peace, as mandated by our Constitution, will global economic growth run. We as a nation will certainly be affected if the world's geopolitical situation is uncertain," he added here on Tuesday.
