Jakarta, Nov. 5 -- Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar stated that the government is currently developing a plan to provide land to farmer groups categorized as poor, extremely poor, and vulnerable.

The plan was discussed during a limited meeting led by President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday, focusing on community empowerment and poverty alleviation.

"We will promote the ownership of production tools by farmers through the distribution of land," Iskandar told the press after the meeting.

The discussion concerning land for poor and vulnerable farmers was one of the issues that received attention from President Prabowo during the limited cabinet meeting.
