Jakarta, Dec. 19 -- The Indonesian government has prepared a regulatory framework governing the use of logs carried by floods in Sumatra to support accelerated post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction across three affected provinces.
State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi delivered the statement at a press conference on post-disaster recovery at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta on Friday.
He said that several days after the disasters struck the three provinces, the Ministry of Forestry issued a circular to provincial and district or city governments regarding the utilization of flood-carried wood.
