Jakarta, May 1 -- Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP), Maruarar Sirait, handed over the keys to subsidized houses for 100 workers during the International Labor Day commemoration at Pertamina University, Jakarta, on Thursday.

"Today, I symbolically hand over 100 keys to subsidized houses for workers," he said during the event.

Sirait informed that his ministry is targeting to provide 20 thousand subsidized homes for Indonesian workers.

According to the minister, the provision of quality subsidized housing at affordable prices under the housing financing liquidity facility (FLPP) could help workers be more enthusiastic about their work and improve their welfare.
