Jakarta, March 14 -- The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology handed over the 2025 Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) College scholarship funds to 1,040,192 Indonesian students.

In the virtual handover on Friday, the ministry's Secretary General, Togar M. Simatupang, stated that this scholarship program is one of the government's priority programs for higher education.

"The KIP College scholarship is given to 1,040,192 students this year, including new students," he remarked.

On this occasion, he also mentioned that 9,141 students at various state and private universities in Indonesia received Adik scholarship funds intended for Papuan students, those from the 3T area, and the children of migrant workers.
