Jakarta, Sept. 21 -- The Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection is coordinating with East Kolaka's local child protection unit to provide continued support for the family of a 10-year-old girl killed in a violent attack in Southeast Sulawesi.
"Justice for the victim and her family is our priority," said Minister Arifah Fauzi on Sunday.
"The East Kolaka UPTD PPA has visited the victim's home and offered psychological support to the grieving family," she added.
The ministry also confirmed that ongoing psychological counseling will be provided to the victim's younger sibling, who witnessed the assault.
Legal assistance is being arranged to support the sibling during police questioning.
