Jakarta, Feb. 6 -- Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi stated that his ministry is continuing to coordinate with various stakeholders to reduce airfares during the 2025 Eid al-Fitr travel period.

"The Ministry of Transportation will keep working with stakeholders in the aviation sector to discuss plans for lowering ticket prices during the 2025 Eid al-Fitr period," he said in a statement issued in Jakarta on Thursday.

The minister proposed that the policy of lowering airplane ticket prices be implemented again, as done during the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year holiday period.
