Batam, July 10 -- Indonesia will need around 12 million digital talents by 2030 to support the growth of the national digital economy, including the artificial intelligence (AI) technology sector, Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Nezar Patria, said.

"We need around 12 million digital talents by 2030. Currently, we can only supply around 3 million. This has been gathered from various ecosystems. Therefore, we need to accelerate various talent development programs," he added during a focused group discussion (FGD) here on Thursday.
