Jakarta, June 28 -- The Ministry of Home Affairs is set to review the recent Constitutional Court (MK) ruling, which requires a minimum two-year gap between national and regional elections starting in 2029.

"We, at the Home Affairs Ministry, will first thoroughly study the substance of the MK's verdict," the ministry's Director General of Politics and Governmental Affairs, Bahtiar, noted in a statement received here on Saturday.

He stated that the ministry will consult with experts and relevant government institutions to assess the verdict's potential impact, including its effects on budgeting.
