Jakarta, March 20 -- The government will hand over 25 thousand housing units to individuals without fixed salaries by the end of April, Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas Maruarar Sirait stated.

The minister explained that this program is aimed at informal workers, such as vegetable traders, meatball traders, and other small business operators, who earn an income but do not have formal pay slips.

"They do not have salaries but have businesses and income. Therefore, we have prepared around 25 thousand housing units for them, which will be handed over at the end of April," Sirait stated here on Wednesday evening (March 19).
