Jakarta, March 5 -- Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno announced that the government will conduct an infrastructure audit in Bekasi City, West Java, following the flood disaster in the region.

"We discussed with the coordinating minister for infrastructure to conduct an audit of the related infrastructure," Pratikno remarked on Wednesday.

He explained that the infrastructure audit aims to examine whether land use aligns with its designated purpose.

Pratikno's side also highlighted the importance of public awareness of proper garbage disposal and waste management.
