Jakarta, Feb. 24 -- Manpower Minister Yassierli emphasized that the government is committed to strengthening access to training and job placement for people with disabilities.

"I invite all parties to play an active role in providing job opportunities to people with disabilities," the minister said, as quoted from an official statement here on Monday.

Yassierli noted that despite the implementation of various policies, the empowerment of workers with disabilities continues to face challenges.

Challenges in the field have led to the less-than-optimal implementation of measures to empower disabled people.
