Jakarta, April 9 -- The government is considering providing social assistance to laid-off residents whose data is recorded in the National Socio-Economic Single Data (DTSEN), according to Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf.
"The Ministry of Social Affairs is utilizing the DTSEN to manage the distribution of social aid and social protection for people, including laid-off workers," Yusuf remarked at his ministry's headquarters in Jakarta on Wednesday.
The minister noted that the government has been working to streamline the DTSEN, which undergoes updates every three months.
