Jakarta, May 14 -- The Indonesian government is seeking to integrate climate change education into the school curriculum to prepare a younger generation that is resilient to climate change and to support sustainable development.
"Indonesia is currently facing a major challenge in dealing with the climate crisis," Director of Climate Change Control Resources Mobilization at the Ministry of Environment, Franky Zamzani, stated during an online discussion event on Wednesday.
According to Zamzani, a long-term strategy is necessary to ensure Indonesia's younger generation develops into climate-resilient and environmentally conscious individuals.
