Indonesia, Sept. 5 -- The government is preparing housing assistance for victims of demonstrations in Makassar, South Sulawesi, according to the Director General of Regional Autonomy at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Akmal Malik.
The houses are being built in the Barombong area and are scheduled to be handed over next week by Minister of Home Affairs Muhammad Tito Karnavian and Minister of Public Housing and Settlement Areas Maruarar Sirait.
"This is our expression of concern for the families of the victims in Makassar," Malik said during a visit to the city on Friday.
