Jakarta, April 5 -- Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi affirmed that the government will optimize the management of the Eid al-Fitr homecoming return flow to ensure smooth transportation across land, sea, and air.

"We will manage the return flow optimally as we have done during the homecoming flow last week. We will evaluate from last week's movement to prepare the return flow," Purwagandhi noted in his written statement on Saturday.

The Transport Ministry has collaborated with other ministries and agencies, state-owned enterprises, and other relevant stakeholders, he stated, adding that the current plan to enhance transport facilities and infrastructure will stand.
