Jakarta, April 7 -- Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR), Adies Kadir, urged the government to take anticipatory measures to prevent an over-import of products from countries affected by the United States' reciprocal tariff policy.
"The DPR supports the government's efforts and coordination to mitigate the risks of financial instability that may arise in the near future," Kadir stated here on Monday.
He believes that the US reciprocal tariff policy has opened a new chapter in the global trade war.
