Indonesia, Oct. 29 -- The central government will build a Sekolah Rakyat building on 6.7 hectares of land in Gumantar Village, North Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, with a budget of around Rp250 billion or about US$15 million.

The head of NTB's Social Affairs Office, Nunung Trianingsih, said here on Wednesday that the school project, part of the national program outlined in Presidential Instruction (Inpres) No. 8, has entered the tender stage and will soon move into physical construction.

"The Sekolah Rakyat in Gumantar, North Lombok, covers 6.7 hectares. It is already in the tender process, and the construction is handled by the Ministry of Public Works, valued at roughly Rp250 billion," she said.
