Tangerang, Banten, Dec. 12 -- The Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development has ensured that the repair of critical infrastructure destroyed in Sumatra, such as bridges and roads, is being accelerated to facilitate the delivery of aid.
"We have mapped and identified the needs. Currently, the Public Works Ministry is carrying out its duties so access can be restored quickly," Minister Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono said during the dispatch of aid for flood victims here on Friday.
He added that the budget requirements for the rehabilitation and reconstruction phase have been calculated. However, due to the damage caused by the disaster, the immediate focus is on repairing critical infrastructure.
