Jakarta, Sept. 8 -- The Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture is providing psychosocial and protection support to the family affected by a filicide tragedy in Banjaran, Bandung District, West Java.

"This case is a reminder of the urgent need to strengthen access to counseling services, mental health care, and family protection," special staff to the minister for disaster resource mobilization, said Mochammad Luthfie Beta, remarked here on Monday.

Beta assured that the family is receiving government support, both through psychosocial support and ongoing protective services.

The government emphasized the importance of cross-sector collaboration to ensure that families facing similar crises can quickly get assistance.
