Jakarta, Dec. 17 -- The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education is strengthening support for teachers serving in disaster-affected areas by providing a special allowance of Rp2 million per teacher.

Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu'ti emphasized the government's commitment to ensuring that education services continue despite emergency situations while simultaneously providing support for the dedication of teachers in disaster-impacted regions.

"The government is present to ensure emergency education can proceed while also providing support for teachers who continue to serve in affected areas," Minister Mu'ti stated here on Wednesday.
