Jakarta, Dec. 24 -- The Forest Area Regulation (PKH) Task Force has relocated 227 families from the Tesso Nilo National Park area in Riau to organize the area and restore the conservation forest ecosystem.
"The task force has conducted the first phase of relocation on December 20, 2025, involving 227 families from a 6,330.78-hectare palm oil plantation," said Attorney General ST Burhanuddin in a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday.
The Attorney General explained that the task force had collected data on residents and infrastructure within the national park: seven community settlements, which were divided into seven villages, with a population of 5,773 families, consisting of 22,183 people and 573 houses.
