Jakarta, Feb. 27 -- Special presidential envoy for climate change and energy, Hashim Djojohadikusumo, has confirmed that Germany has replaced the United State of America regarding the leadership of the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP).
"I met with the German government delegation last week and they conveyed that they decided to replace the US as the lead member in JETP," he said here on Thursday.
The decision follows US President Donald Trump's policy to officially withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement, and eventually, the JETP.
