Denpasar, July 1 -- The Singaraja Immigration Office, Bali, has deported a German national for overstaying in Indonesia by 2.5 months.
"This case began with a public report regarding the presence of a foreign national who allegedly violated immigration regulations in the Singaraja area," the head of Singaraja Immigration, Hendra Setiawan, informed in Denpasar, Bali, on Tuesday.
The German national arrived in Bali on December 5, 2024, on a visit stay permit.
However, until June 12, 2025, the 75-year-old had not extended his stay permit in Bali. He was, therefore, detained by immigration officers.
Immigration found the German national negligent for overstaying in Bali.
