Jakarta, Nov. 24 -- Indonesia wants to remind the world at the G20 Summit that global cooperation must be built on fair partnerships, not on countries "dictating" to others, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka said.
"Every country should be able to determine its own development path. Partnership must create prosperity and empowerment," he stated after delivering remarks at the summit's third session in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Sunday.
Gibran said that throughout the G20 sessions and sideline events, including a forum with CEOs, Indonesia consistently advocated for the interests of the Global South, particularly on economic justice and the right to development.
