Jakarta, Aug. 3 -- Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto emphasized the importance of mastering fundamental knowledge in facing global technological disruptions such as artificial intelligence and quantum computing.

"Fundamental knowledge is essential amid the very high speed of computation. Scientific culture is very important," he said in a statement here on Sunday.
