Jakarta, March 7 -- The Indonesian government will grant a quota of around 1 million tons for copper concentrate exports to PT Freeport Indonesia, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia announced on Friday.
"Freeport's (export) quota is more or less around 1 million tons," the minister said.
Director general of minerals and coal at the ministry, Tri Winarno, said that Freeport will revise its work plan and budget, which will be evaluated by the government in the next six months.
Afterward, the copper concentrate export quota for Freeport will be officially announced.
