Jakarta, April 9 -- Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana stated that the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program has the potential to create new market opportunities and increase demand, thereby boosting the national economy.
"The MBG will boost economic growth because it creates more jobs and opens new opportunities for food and beverage businesses," he told ANTARA through a text message on Wednesday.
According to Hindayana, the program is positioned as the main driver in strengthening the local food production and distribution ecosystem.
