Denpasar, June 23 -- The Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program offers a wide range of benefits, including improving the nutritional status and dietary habits of the younger generation, according to the National Nutrition Agency (BGN).

"Nutritious meals provided under the MBG program are expected to boost people's nutritional intake," Muhammad Suhud, an expert with the BGN, said during an event held to promote the program in a customary village in Denpasar city, Bali, on Monday.

He emphasized that the government has designed MBG as a strategic initiative to produce a generation of high-quality human resources by improving diets.
