Jakarta, March 21 -- Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin announced that the government's Free Health Screening program has recorded over one million registrants since its launch on February 10, 2025.
Sadikin told the press after monitoring a health screening event for ride-hailing riders here on Friday that the number of people registering to receive the services had risen to 90 thousand per day.
The minister expressed hope that the number of registrants for the Free Health Screening program can continue to increase, even reaching more than 50 million people in 2025.
"Because this is the first year, to achieve 50 million (registrants), there must be 150 thousand (registrants) per day," he remarked.
