Jakarta, July 18 -- The Jakarta provincial government has begun a Free Health Check (CKG) program for students in schools, coinciding with the School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS) earlier this week.

"(The free health checks for students) have been running since the start of the school year, during MPLS. We started at Elementary Schools first," Head of the Jakarta Health Office Ani Ruspitawati stated at Jakarta City Hall on Friday.

The CKG for students, a program of the Ministry of Health, began in early July 2025 as part of the national strategic agenda to foster a healthy and resilient generation.
