Jakarta, May 20 -- Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka stated that the Free Health Check-up (CKG) program is highly relevant for supporting urban communities, which are more susceptible to non-communicable diseases (NCD).

VP Gibran made the statement on Tuesday while inspecting the CKG program's implementation at two local health centers in Jakarta: Kembangan Sub-district health center in West Jakarta and Pesanggrahan Sub-district health center in South Jakarta.

"The urban communities' lifestyle, which tends to make people vulnerable to non-communicable diseases, such as hypertension and diabetes, emphasizes the importance of utilizing the free health check service," he noted as written in the VP Secretariat statement.
