Jakarta, Sept. 17 -- Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar is optimistic that 4 million workers will be absorbed if the distribution of People's Business Credit (KUR) is accelerated.

"With two million MSMEs receiving accelerated KUR assistance, and assuming each business employs at least two workers, more than four million jobs could be created if the program is launched and disbursed promptly," Coordinating Minister Muhaimin Iskandar said in a statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.

This accelerated KUR distribution is targeted to be provided to 2.3 million MSMEs by 2025.
