Jakarta, May 2 -- The National Development Planning Ministry (Bappenas) estimated that Indonesia will have four million green workers by 2025.

"By 2025, the number of green workers in Indonesia is projected to reach four million people, or 2.7 percent of the total workforce, and it could increase to more than 5.3 million people, or 3.14 percent, by 2029, in a high economic growth scenario," Deputy Minister of Bappenas Febrian Alphyanto Ruddyard stated here on Friday.

Ruddyard made this statement at Indonesia's Green Jobs Development Roadmap launch during Indonesia's Green Jobs Conference (IGJC) 2025: Turning Vision Into Action.
