Jakarta, June 17 -- President Prabowo Subianto has determined that the four islands disputed by Aceh and North Sumatra provinces-Panjang, Lipan, Mangkir Gadang, and Mangkir Ketek-form a part of the administrative territory of Aceh.

This was announced by State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi after a limited meeting with several stakeholders at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday.

"The government has decided that the four islands, namely Panjang Island, Lipan Island, Mangkir Gadang Island, and Mangkir Ketek Island, based on government documents, are administratively a part of Aceh's administrative territory," he said.
