Jakarta, Jan. 23 -- Indonesia's former youth and sports minister Dito Ariotedjo appeared before the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) after being summoned as a witness in a Hajj quota graft case involving the Religious Affairs Ministry during 2023-2024.
Speaking to the press upon arriving at the KPK headquarters in Jakarta on Friday, he confirmed that the anti-graft body had sent him a letter requesting his testimony on two suspects in the case, including former religious affairs minister Yaqut Cholil Qoumas.
"I come here responding to the summons as a law-abiding citizen," Dito said.
The former minister assured reporters he would provide more details after his questioning with the KPK.
