Jakarta, July 20 -- Indonesia's former president, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, has been hospitalized in Jakarta as he needs to rest after participating in various activities until last week.

Herman Khaeron, Secretary General of the Democratic Party - Yudhoyono's party - stated that Indonesia's 6th president is recovering during his treatment.

"Mr. SBY requires enough rest after a series of engagements, from the preparation and launch of the 'Save our World' song, the party retreat in Pacitan (that requires him) to travel by land, and speaking at events in Malaysia," Khaeron, referring to Yudhoyono's initialism SBY, told ANTARA on Sunday.
