Kota Bandung, Feb. 5 -- The Forestry Ministry has revoked the permit of the Tamansari Wildlife Foundation, the conservation organization that manages Bandung Zoo, as a measure to save the animals and improve the management of the area.

Satyawan Pudiyatmoko, an official from the ministry, stated in Bandung on Thursday that the permit revocation was necessary to ensure the protection of all animals.

"The state must not allow animals to become victims of administrative issues. We are revoking the permit to ensure that the animals at Bandung Zoo are protected and not neglected," he said.
