Jakarta, June 12 -- President Prabowo Subianto has emphasized that food security will remain his government's priority in the first two to three years of its term.

After the closing of the International Conference on Infrastructure (ICI) 2025 here on Thursday, he said that food production in Indonesia has reached its highest level since the nation's founding.

"Our food production and reserves, especially rice and corn, are currently the largest in Indonesia's history. Whether acknowledged or not, the rice reserves at the government's warehouses have reached a record high," he expounded.

The President also highlighted the advancement of agricultural technology that has helped boost productivity in several regions.
