Jakarta, Aug. 15 -- President Prabowo Subianto stated that the government allocates Rp402.4 trillion (approximately US$24.8 billion) for Indonesia's energy security programs in 2026.
The president conveyed this in his speech on the Draft State Budget (RAPBN) for the 2026 fiscal year and financial notes at the Plenary Session of the House of Representatives (DPR), marking the opening of the 2025-2026 sitting period at the Parliamentary Complex, Jakarta, on Friday.
On that occasion, he stated that the government will strengthen energy security for national sovereignty by increasing oil and gas production, maintaining energy prices, and accelerating the transition towards clean energy.
