Jakarta, Sept. 10 -- Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa directly met with President Prabowo Subianto after his first working meeting with the House of Representatives (DPR) here on Wednesday.

Arriving at around 5:30 p.m. local time at the Presidential Palace, Sadewa said he wanted to report on proposed changes to several budget components submitted by the government to the DPR.

"There are some budget changes that were proposed to the DPR. We have submitted them, and I will report (to the President) the outcome of the DPR session," Sadewa said, responding to questions from reporters.

Sadewa, who was inaugurated just two days earlier on September 8, said no special report was prepared for the President.
