Banyuwangi, July 12 -- As the hunt for victims of the sunken KMP Tunu Pratama Jaya entered the 11th day, the joint search and rescue (SAR) team focused operations in the southern Bali Strait.

So far, the bodies of several victims have been retrieved from this area.

Deputy for Search and Rescue Operations and Preparedness at the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) Ribut Eko Suyatno said that on the first day of the second extension of the search, the sea search and rescue unit (SRU) team conducted a surface search in the south.
