Jakarta, July 29 -- The Indonesian swimming team is making the most of the 2025 World Aquatics Championships (WAC) in Singapore as a crucial preparatory event ahead of the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand, scheduled for December.
Two notable Indonesian male swimmers, I Gede Siman Sudartawa and Felix Viktor Iberle, are set to compete in the World Championships, taking place in Singapore from July 11 to August 3.
"This competition serves as an intermediate goal for Siman and Felix before the SEA Games," coach Albert Christiadi Sutanto told ANTARA on Monday.
"We hope Felix can reach at least the semifinals. For Siman, it is simply a time target here," Sutanto remarked.
